Blast Theory is pleased to invite you to an Artist Talk by the current
Artist in Residence at 20 Wellington Road - Andy Field.

During his six-week residency, Andy has been experimenting with
performance and interactive techniques. He has used the time to
develop a new piece with the working title 'First and Second
Wilderness'. In his Artist Talk, Andy will discuss his current work
and the experience of his Artist in Residence programme.

Andy Field creates interactive experiences that take place outside of
traditional theatre spaces. He has developed unusual and interactive
experiences for Batersea Arts Centre, the Hide + Seek Festival, Metal,
Carlow Arts Festival and the Delfina Foundation, amongst others. He is
also the Co-Director of Forest Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival and
writes regularly for the Guardian Blog. Andy's website is

The aim of the 20 Wellington Road Residency Programme is to develop
residency opportunities for individuals working in similar fields of
research and practice to Blast Theory. The next deadline for
applications is January 31st 2010.

Current Blast Theory projects: Blast Theory is developing an SMS diary
game for teenage girls with the support of Channel 4 Education and has
recently been awarded the Locative Cinema commission by Banff New
Media Centre, Zero One Festival San Jose and Sundance Film Festival.
