Audigy 2ZS crackling sound

I'm getting a crackling, staticky sound through my speakers
and headphones. I've reseated the card and updated the
drivers. Problem remains.

Am I picking up a larger problem from the mother board or
can I be sure it's just limited to the soundcard. And
then....should I just replace it?
