Is there a way to select a scene and then when it is done playing have it go
back to the menu without cutting up the video into sections?
I have a show and I have the markers set. But when a scene selection is
chosen it keeps playing after that scene is done. Is there a way around this
or is this the way Encore works?

Thanks

Bob

If I interpret what you mean correctly then no, this involves dicing things
up.

Adding a "Play single chapter only" function is something I try to avoid now
for just that reason. It's a lot easier just to have one long timeline with
chapter marks and have it play from a selected point and continue until the
end.

Perhaps someone knows otherwise and could set us straight...but unless this
was changed between Encore 1 and 1.5, we're stuck.

It sounds like what your looking for would be "Scripts". Better for you to
read the help/user guide than me describe them here, but with them you can
create multiple choice quizes, game contests, alternate endings, etc. for
your dvd. They're not easy to learn but master them and set yourself above
the creator competition.

Hey, Vern!

Any idea where one could get more information about this, in particular
regarding use in Encore? Encore "help" is useless in this regard. It
seems that scripts are what one might use to create a quiz made up of
random questions and so forth, right?
