Hi,

I have the following problem with DVD Encore 1.5:

When I create a new DVD and make a main menu, I have not encountered any
problems so far. However, when I want a submenu, I'm in trouble. I want a
submenu with buttons for several scenes in one film file. I have created
these scenes with the timeline in DVD Encore. I want the viewers to be able
to click a button to view a particular scene. After playing this scene, the
viewer should be returned to the submenu where he/she can choose another
scene. However, I don't seem to be able to realise this. When a viewer
chooses a scene, this scene is played but then the scenes after that are
played too ... so the viewer is not returned to the submenu (except at the
very end of the film). I have set links to the several scenes from each
button and I have set the Link Override option to return to the submenu. Is
there anything I am overlooking?

Thanks for any hints,

Lenny

It sound like you may be setting chapter points in one timeline as your
submenu button scenes, instead of distinct clips. So, after the chapter
plays it continues from that clip to the following clips. If you can make
sense of the Adobe help chapter relating to Scenes this will give you what
you are wanting to do. If not make sure each button links to it's own clip
timeline. Hope this helps.
