Audigy Soundcard OEM or Retail?

I am considerinhg purchasing the Creative Audigy soundcard, although I know
the OEM version is a bit different as it comes without software - would
anyone recommend I buy a OEM version or is the bundled software with the
retail version worth the extra money?

I have an OEM SB Live 1024 which wouldn't accept the XP drivers on
Creative site. Creative support told me that since it was OEM and not
retail they couldn't give support. They did however tell me that the
drivers on their XP drivers CD, supplied at a nominal charge, may work
but were not guaranteed to. Luckily enough they did.
