E5000 internal Zip > floppy replace

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to exchange the Floppy drive of my
E5000 against an internal Zip drive. I have done so with my MPC2000XL
but am not sure if it will work on the E5k.

Also, does anybody have any experience with EOS FAT formatted hard
drives and sample editing on a Mac/PC and any possible
inconveniences??

Any news on the USB option??
