Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Techno-Functional SAP EAM Consultant with deep experience in asset management, maintenance operations, and reliability engineering. This role will support and enhance SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance) capabilities, working closely with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to drive efficiency across asset-intensive environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) processes
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams
• Configure and support work order management, preventive maintenance, notifications, and asset lifecycle processes
• Support integration with other SAP modules including MM, FI/CO, and project systems
• Work closely with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and data migration efforts
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with testing cycles (SIT/UAT), system upgrades, and deployments
• Provide recommendations on best practices for asset management and maintenance optimization
• Support reporting and analytics related to asset performance and maintenance KPIs

 

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM)
• Experience in asset-intensive industries (Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing)
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes (preventive, corrective, predictive)
• Experience in a techno-functional role (configuration + technical collaboration)
• Knowledge of integration points with MM, FI/CO, and supply chain processes
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM transformations
• Exposure to IBM Maximo or other EAM platforms
• Familiarity with mobile solutions (SAP Work Manager / Fiori apps)
• Experience with GIS or IoT integrations for asset monitoring
• Background in reliability engineering or field operations
