You know how summer is supposed to be a time for resting and relaxing and stuff? Me neither. I've been busy and it keeps on rolling on.
In a few weeks, I'll be in
Charlotte, North Carolina with my Vancouver Poetry Slam team to compete in the
National Poetry Slam! Whoa!
I was thinking of doing this poem about being lonely on a Tuesday night while I'm there:
I am most especially excited to be teaching another
25 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training called Teaching as Storytelling from August 19th-22nd at
East Side Yoga that explores the ways in which the same elements that make a great story make a great yoga class. I'm mostly just excited because I get to use a whiteboard. I love using whiteboards.
The full training is $515, and you can pay on a payment plan if you'd like (just message me back).
The first day (Sunday August 19th, 2-6pm) is open to everyone, teachers and practitioners, who want to learn a little bit about sequencing and how to use it in class or in a home practice.
Sunday August 19th 2-6pm
$80
