This summer has really zoomed by. Lots has gone on, including a week in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I was competing with the Vancouver Poetry Slam against 80 other teams from all over the world [which you can read about

People say beauty
comes from within so wear your
liver on your face
I also taught a 25 hour
Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training on Teaching as Storytelling with some amazing students. I'm cooking up another one for the new year that will be split up onto the weekends, so watch out for that if you are interested. We talked a lot about finding your own voice, and the courage to really be yourself as a teacher. And, you know, Wayne's World. [you can read about that here:

This coming
Saturday September 1st, from 2-4pm, I'm teaming up with my partner, Daniel Shaw, to offer an experience of Restorative and Yin yoga called
Sounds of Healing. It will be supported with props and hands on healing (optional of course) with the healing sounds of crystal bowls, throat singing, poetry, and other good vibrations. This is a rare experience, and one that we are really excited to offer. Space is limited, but there are still spots left. The link to preregister is on this page:

Speaking of Restorative, I'm really looking forward to the new additions to my fall schedule:
My last two offerings are these:
So that's lots of, um, me. My brother would call this email the Julie Show. Which, yes it is. Enjoy. :)
Be in touch anytime, and hope to see you soon!
Peace, love, and unicorns,
