It was great working with you all this weekend! I'm really happy to get connected to the timebank, and while I can't commit much time in the immediate future I do hope to continue to contribute down the line. One thing I will do though is work (with Tom?) to get the SMS features deployed on the live site soon. The one main concern is that we will need a timebank Twilio account set up. Is there some money somewhere to pay for it? It's 1 cent per text, but maybe Twilio would give us a discount? Who should set that up?

I ALSO had an amazing time this weekend, and I thank everyone for their efforts. 

the only thing I can commit to is figuring out how to grow the idea of timebanking, with all of the benefits that it brings, out of the shadows of 'mainstream' society, and into a spotlight as a powerful tool for community reconnection and individual well-being. Timebanking has the potential to be a DIY social safety net for anyone, and I think that has huge implications for indicating trustworthiness of individuals, which happened to be one of the other big themes (problems to attack) of CR8C. 

If anyone ever wants to talk about these big hairy issues, I'm around!!! And let me know if I can ever help with other things.

I'll put the issue of a Twillio account on the next Board Meeting agenda.

I do know that we feel it is real breakthrough to set up the SMS texting, and I'm sure we'd like to find a way to support it.

I will also continue to work with Ulises on developing the re-designed website.

I'll be glad to help with production side. the tibetsprague fork is probably best right now for new code since it is unclear to me who has password to bace github account to add contibutors.

it was cool when tibet's sms request for turntables and art was replied to within a minute and before that i recall that rick said he was being interviewed and he received an sms request while the interview was going on.

It would be great if we eventually added a button to the TB which allows people to request hours from the Board.
(I think it sometimes falls through the cracks..)

Great, I'm in! I'm traveling this weekend and probably wont have time to deploy the SMS stuff to the production site until next week. We should definitely add a checkbox so folks can decide whether they want to get text message notifications or not. How would we go about requesting hours?
