Hi Everyone,

I'm seeing quite a few posts from workshop participants who are not able to access Design Notebooks made in Google Presentations. If you have used this tool for your notebook, please make sure to check your sharing settings so the person assigned to review your notebook will be able to view the notebook. Here is a link to descriptions about the sharing settings from the Google Site.

By default, presentations are private. The presentation sharing setting needs to be changed to: Anyone with the link --> can view

Here are the steps and screenshots.
  1. Open the sharing settings on your Google Presentation
  2. Click on "change" next to the top setting which usually says "Private"
  3. Select "Anyone with link" as the sharing setting
  4. Click on "Save" - your link should now be accessible to anyone who has the URL, including those who are reviewing your notebook!

Next...

Thanks and let us know if you have any questions!

Hi
In week1, I clicked on the button Submit Link Design Notebook and I did not paste any links. The input box is disabled and I can not send the link from my notebook. I ask the administrator of the site to intervene in the "https://creative-computing.appspot.com/assessment?name=10" page to allow me to paste the link of my ntebook and send him and thank you.

How does one post to this group? I don't see a Post or New or Compose ... can reply to posts, but have uploaded (I thought) my Design Notebook to the forum, but do not see my post. Is there a specific name for this group? I've posted link (below) to other locations, but need to understand how to post to this forum.

Thanks.

Hi Marilyn,

Do you see a red "New Topic" button at the top of the screen? (Screenshot below).

Thanks,
K

Hi I reviewed this file
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1bxrQowx6opU8iKtvtItWzRsZ3nTcgHGHtJfva74Ty4M/edit#slide=id.p
writing NoteBook not filled,in fact after I understood he creates an animation with GOanimate about scratch, so I could write more.
May I change my review?
Beatrice

Hi Beatrice,

I'm not sure if you can go back and change your review, but you could definitely leave him additional feedback on the GO animate page in the comments and also on his actual Scratch project. In his design notebook, he pasted a link to his Scratch project. When you put that in the web browser, it doesn't work quite like it should. I took out the "embed" part of the URL and was able to get to the Scratch project. You can leave comments on the project and contact him with a message.
