Hi All,
My good wife Deb sent me this link about Earth Day Events around Delaware. https://delawaretodo.com/30-free-and-nearly-free-earth-day-events-in-and-around-delaware/
Can you think of any great ways we can share our "Good news" in the community by tagging onto any of these Earth Day events?
Come to Sunday's CCM meeting with any of your own visions to share!

Here is another thought share:
In the Past our Synod CCM team has shared the Lenten devotional calendars from Interfaith Power and Light. I think the 2026 devotional calendar will come out soon. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Below is a copy past from an internet search on Lenten Devotions:
  • Creation Care Calendar (Earth Ministry/WA IPL): Focuses on environmental stewardship, linking daily Lenten practices to care for the earth.
  • Presbyterian Hunger Program (PCUSA): Features a "Sharing Calendar for Lent 2026," which encourages donations and actions based on daily reflections regarding hunger and sustainability.
  • ELCA World Hunger Lent Calendar 2026: Provides an 11″x17″, daily calendar with hymns, prayers, and Bible verses focused on global hunger.
  • Church of England: The 2026 theme is "Draw Near: Life-giving habits for Lent," focused on building habits that draw one closer to God.
  • Lutheran Church Canada (LCC): Released "Turning and Returning," a devotional focusing on the penitential rhythm of the season, along with a family-focused Lenten calendar.
Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast: Offers a five-week study titled "Reconciliation: From Ashes to Peace"

               Looking forward,
               Larry
