I have to tell you that this was an accident, but I am so pleased with
it that I wanted to share. You have to try this!
1 package Mori Nu Chocolate Pudding Mix
1 cup French Vanilla Yogurt cheese
1 cup Sour cream
1 Tbsp Frangelico (optional)
1 bar Dagoba Chocolate (I used the Eclipse Bar 87% cacao)
Put all the white stuff and the Frangelico in a food processor. I
found a blender doesn't work as well because I like it to end up
thicker. Blend it up. Slowly add the Mori Nu. Melt the bar of
chocolate and slowly add that. Blend it for at least 2 minutes. Pour
it into your favorite nut crust or pretty souffle glasses. Would be
great layered with fruit.
I usually just use regular yogurt and/or sour cream or kefir cheese
but I like the lack of tartness using the yogurt cheese. I just put
in too much "white stuff" so when I got around to adding the Mori Nu,
the filling was a light chocolate color - not too inviting for
chocolate lovers. So I decided that if the Dagoba chocolate bars were
good enough for my lip balm recipe, then I could put them in my pie!
You can also substitute an orange or hazelnut extract (FlavOrganics
makes some good ones) for the Frangelico.
Definitely not low fat, but a good treat when you just must have
something decadent. Like on Christmas Day!
Have a joy filled holiday. Love, Kathy
