Stopping Catalog Mailings

I don't know about you, but my mailbox is filled every day with mail
order catalogs. I did a search and found this:

It looks like you can request to have your name removed from the
national database for these kind of mailings. Note that it looks like
as soon as you order, you can be re-entered into the database unless
you specifically tell the vendor NOT to add you. This post is from
2002, but I'm going to try it and see what happens. Will keep you
posted.

Save those trees!!! If I can stop these catalogs, my recycle bin will
be 1/2 the size!
