This stuff is pretty exciting - an amazing tool for re-programming
yourself! Several folks have been asking about this so I decided to
post it. I believe that EFT had it's roots in NRP - Neuro Linguistic
Programming. I've been using this for working on my back. From what
I've read, you can use it on pretty much anything going on with your
body. And, in fact, the more you use it, the better! It feels to me
like an acupuncture treatment.

Here is a video about the technique. There are some other things on
the page like responses to the video and a "short cut" video:

Here's a page describing the technique:

If there is something you are working on, add this to your toolkit!

Love, Kathy

I have been suffering for weeks from a very high level of anxiety (including migranes & a sore back) as a result of many, many changes occuring in my life. I practiced EFT for only three days and I am about 99% better. I just can't believe it! It took me a couple of days to make the connection - days during which I forgot all about EFT. It all started with this little thought that maybe everything is OK just the way it is. The next day, it was. Wow!

Hi Carol,

I had heard it was really helpful with migraines but I don't have them
so I'm happy to know that it seemed to help. Are you articulating
what the problem is e.g., "Even though I have this migraine, anxiety,
whatever...I still love and accept myself" or are you doing it in
more a manner of affirmations. Like "I am moving all the fear and
anxiety out of my body". I'm curious because it seems to me to be the
same thing - reprogramming. I have been working with both approaches
and am curious how it's working for others. As always, I love pushing
the envelope.

Elizabeth, have you been playing with this technique yet? If so,
please share!

Love, Kathy

PS Regarding the migraines, I can't wait to see what you think of
what the author of Mindbody Prescription has to say about his
experience and whether that maps for you!

I articulated the following "Even though I am quite anxious, I still love and accept myself" becaie I knew that anxiety was causing the migranes. I am looking forward to reading Mindbody Prescription. Thanks for sending it!

I have been on vacation for the last two weeks. Between smashing my
thumb in a car door the day before I left and getting a terminal sore
throat that lasted a week, I have had my challenges with pain on this
trip. Travel is not usually my friend. But I have to say that doing
EFT morning and night, while it didn't instantly make the pain
disappear, it did ease me through the experience allowing me to
continue to enjoy this beautiful and magical place. I slept well even
when the thumb and throat were the most intense and I awoke every day
ready to experience it all. And the most magical of all -- I was pain
free on the very day of my birthday 07-07-07! Hurray!!
