I have recently begun working with a Feldenkrais practitioner for my
back and I'm really excited about it. I found out some info I wanted
to share about how to find one in your area if you are struggling with
back or shoulder problems (or other muscular/structural issues).

Feldenkrais uses gentle movement and directed attention to improve
movement. It can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your
flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your capacity for
graceful, efficient movement.

Check www.feldenkrais.com and look for a practitioner with a date that
is earlier than 2000. Nothing takes the place of experience. Then
find one that indicates FI or Functional Integration. Most are
qualified in ATM or Action Through Movement but FI is a particulary
effective method and harder to find.

Here's some info about FI

Oops. Sorry. ATM means AWARENESS through movement not Action Through
Movement. Big difference :)
