Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who participated in the diversity & inclusiveness
session at Create Baltimore. We had a lively discussion on the role
that race and other factors play in Baltimore's emerging arts,
culture, and innovation scene. Attendees agreed that we only
scratched the surface and we thought it a good idea to keep the
conversation going.

I'm willing to host everyone who's interested for a follow-up meeting
at the Baltimore Community Foundation sometime the week of Feb. 14 or
Feb. 21. After work (5-630, say) might be most convenient for folks,
but I'm open to other suggestions.

We'll keep the agenda simple: recap what we touched on at our initial
conversation, talk about some of the cool things going on locally to
promote inclusiveness and equity, and see where we want to go from
there.

If you'd like to join us for this conversation, please send me a brief
note at kmoreno[at]gmail and indicate your preferred meeting time. If
you have any burning suggestions for topics to include in the
discussion, send me those as well. I look forward to seeing you.
