Hi folks,

Please pardon the multiple posts. At Shervonne Cherry's excellent
suggestion, I have created an eventbrite page for this event:
http://bmoreinclusive.eventbrite.com/

Note that participation is limited to 30 people because of space considerations.

*************************************************

WHAT: A conversation about issues of race, diversity, and
inclusiveness in Baltimore's arts and culture scene
WHEN: Monday, February 21, 6-7:30 p.m.
WHERE: The Latrobe Building, 2 East Read Street, 8th Floor, Baltimore
WHO: All who attended last month's Create Baltimore session on
diversity and inclusiveness; all who are interested in making
Baltimore's arts and culture landscape more inclusive, particularly
with regard to race.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This is an opportunity to:
* learn about the history and current state of racial and other
divisions in Baltimore's artistic and cultural spheres;
* share information about current and planned events and
initiatives designed to bridge those divisions;
* brainstorm about ways we can come together to make arts and
culture in Baltimore more inclusive.

While there will be a loose program (forthcoming) and the discussion
will be moderated, this is meant to be a friendly, civil, and informal
conversation. It is not affiliated with any organization and is not
intended to advance any particular agenda.

We shoud not expect to come away from this conversation with
definitive solutions -- although if any arise, so much the better!
This is simply a chance to listen to and learn from each other. All
points of view are welcome. The only prerequisites are open ears and
an open mind.
