Where all browser uses tabs, Cream-Browser will use split !

If you know Cream-Browser, you probably know vim, and it's :split and :vsplit commands.
I'm working on that features for Cream-Browser. But it will have one notebook per windows.

A bit like that :

In order to develop this very easier, I decided to make Cream-Browser's GUI not configurable (except for colors).

can you explain the difference between split and tabs?  Each screen will be as full (take up the full window of the browser) but the "tabs" would be a row that is split evenly depending on how many window's are open (similar to luakit browser and jumanji)?  Can you reference a picture that would properly depict the design you're talking about here? Just like to make sure I fully understand the feature you mention here.  I'm fine with only configuring colors for the browser, I'm not much into skinning of my browser or anything like that.

If "custom" was mass produced... it would just be a "product line."

I can't understand what you don't.

The tabs concept is the same as in every browser :

Firefox (with chrome's theme) concept.

In the future's Cream-Browser's design, you will be able to "split" your window. Each "splitted" part have tabs.

Just like Vim.

I hope I answered your question.

Probably a mix between both examples.

Anyway, The SplittedWindow is coded and being tested. Notebook is now functional (just have to customize it).

I could test modules functioning, every works perfectly :)

The GUI is coming very soon :)

Yes, the SplittedWindow (now called GtkVimSplit) is finished, enjoy your browser which does nothing for the moment :)
