Last Saturdays ride

On Saturday the 16th Kelly, Rick, Jake, Steve, Susan and Tom went to Wheeling for the ride .  We were met by Andy a good friend of Tom  and Susan. We started with 4 miles on the Wheeling Creek section of the Heritage Trail. That includes a tunnel and bridge from the early 1900s. This takes you into downtown Wheeling.

We checked out WV independence Hall and the B&O Railroad western hub. we continued to the RT along the Ohio River heading  north and Road to a rest stop just into Brooke county. From there we headed back south on the trail, About half way back it began to rain so we headed to the cars from the trail intersection. We all went and had a late lunch at Uncle Petes a local eatery. We got in about 26 miles
