Some of us are going to watch the air show from the water tomorrow morning (Saturday, Sept. 1).
We will be launching from Wendy Park at 8:30AM. We will paddle east and go to the outside of the breakwall to watch the show. I'm bringing my coffee and nosheri since there's no snack concessionaire on the water. Maybe an umbrella for shade.
There will be boat traffic and waves and wake will be pretty constant once they rev up. We can raft up for stability/πππΌπ¦.
For intrepid souls, though we cannot be inside the breakwall EAST of the Cuyahoga River, there is the option of staying inside the wall and west of the river.
Wendy Park has a lot of parking on the hill just south of the parking lot.
This isn't an organized "event" so please watch the weather and any other conditions and just show up if it's the right paddle for you.
