Lake Erie. 11-Island Kayak Tour

Frank Webber and I are going to take this tour in one day. We will cover around 26 miles, stopping at or on each island (making hot coffee and eating lunch mid-day).
Right now we are looking at Monday or Tuesday next week (24th or 25th), whichever has better predicted paddling conditions. If neither date gives us what we want, we will choose another date this season.
We would leave from Catawba Island at 7:30 AM.
How long it takes depends on conditions, but if the waves aren't more than one foot and the wind remains in our favor, we will average 4 mph. Since we are not looking for perfect conditions but, instead, conditions we agree upon (which could include waves up to 4'), travel could be much slower. In any event, allow for a full day on the water.
If you have the time, interest, and skill, and want to join us for a challenging paddle, let me know. I'll then put together a separate email list to keep those paddlers in the loop regarding this trip.
