Join us at the Curtis Airport Fly in (0WA2) Friday June 23 to Sunday June 25. Here is their invitation:
We anticipate this year’s fly-in at Curtis Airport, will be another amazing experience. This is what grass-roots flying and fly-ins are all about nothing commercial. We all will have a great time together and enjoy the sun, delicious food, friends and family, flying and fun. Please bring your folding chairs.
Overnight camping starts Friday afternoon with a Seafood boil in the evening. Smoked Pulled Pork, and Pot Luck items will be served on Saturday at 12:00 sharp. Stay the night Saturday and enjoy the campfire, Oysters/ Hotdogs and comradery, then fly out Sunday morning after a Pancake and Sausage breakfast.
Curtis Airport 0WA2 is a private field, and is on the Seattle Sectional. This field is one way in/one way out, unless winds prohibit, landing to the north uphill, take-offs to south downhill. Contact on 122.90 for landing /departure.
