Hi,

I'm using the latest version of the ODR Muxer and I'd like to link my fm service to the simulcasted DAB, so the radio will switch when leaving the FM area or vice versa.

The fm channel runs on 87.9 MHz and has PI 0x109F, the DAB channel runs on 12A and the corresponding service has the ID: 0x10A1.

Is there any tutorial how to do this in ODR Mux?

Thanks!

Christian

Hello

The correct way to do this, if the content is identical on both FM and DAB at all times, is to the use same value for the SId as the FM PI code.

So you would change your DAB SId to 0x109F.

Regards

Nick

Hallo Christian,

there's no tutorial yet, but read doc/servicelinking.mux for examples on
how to write the configuration, and read ETSI TS 103 176 to understand
what the DAB standard allows in terms of linking.

But indeed, it's easier to use the same SId as the PI code, and you get
implicit linking nearly for free.
