Hey everyone,

Right now, we are go for launch tomorrow. A few operational notes before you head out.

Fire restrictions. The site is not currently under any fire restrictions, but that status can change at any time. Check www.crashonline.org before you leave: green thumbs up means we're good to go, red thumbs down means we've been fire banned.

Dry conditions, keep it simple. Given the conditions, tomorrow is single-stage, single-motor flights only:

  • No clusters
  • No staging
  • No oddrocs

Save the complex builds for a wetter day.

Stability check. If you have any doubt about a rocket's stability (sim results look questionable, thin CG/CP margin, untested design), leave it on the ground. Not the day to run that experiment.

Motor and weight limits. Hard limits as always:

  • Max 125g propellant
  • Max 1500g total liftoff weight

If your rocket exceeds either number, it doesn't fly.

Fly conservative, fly within the limits, and let's have a good, incident-free day at the pads.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Matt B
