Richard Brown - Recipient of This Year's Martin Luther King Jr. Award
Homelessness can affect anyone at any time. As a young adult, Richard Brown found himself without a home following a fire. The experience changed his life and guided much of his work. On this week’s podcast I talk with Richard about those experiences and how he and his late wife. Jan, worked to repair a broken world.

Cranford Elks Fundraiser for Special Needs Children - Wednesday, January 15 🍴
Suspenders will be donating 10% of checks during this fundraiser between 5 and 10 pm.
Cranford’s Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Commemoration - Thursday, January 16 🫱🏻🫲🏾
The event will take place at Calvary Tabernacle. This year’s recipient of the MLK Award will also speak. Hear an interview with Richard Brown on this week’s Cranford Radio podcast.
Downtown Cranford Superhero Stroll - January 18 & 19 🎈🍲
Tickets are now available for this annual event. Enjoy life-size superhero balloon sculptures and stay warm sampling soups from local restaurants.

You’ll be able to drive-up and drop-off a variety of needed items outside Bates Hall at the First Presbyterian Church between 3 and 5.
Cranford Jaycees Winter Blood Drive - Saturday, January 25 🩸
Roll your sleeve up and donate a pint. If there are 100 or more donors, the Jaycees will receive a $1,000 contribution to their scholarship fund.
Cranford Fund for Educational Excellence Trivia Night - Saturday, February 22 ❓
Tickets and sponsorships are now available for this annual event which supports Cranford Public Schools.
