Copeland Furniture has been designing and manufacturing furniture in Vermont
for over 30 years, using hardwoods sustainably harvested here in the Northeast.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate for our Company Store in Bradford Vermont.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Previous retail experience, with a strong interest in Sales and Marketing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency and familiarity with all Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong proficiency with written English so as to be able to effectively communicate via email and letters.
- The ability and inclination to work as a 'team-player.'
-The ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently as well as be proactive and self sufficient.
- A consistent and flexible schedule with the ability to work most Saturdays and select holidays.
This position entails:
-High-Value Furniture Sales, In-store, phone and online.
-Comprehensive customer service, In store, phone and thru email.
-Assistance in daily maintenance and upkeep of the store including pricing and signage.
-Assisting the Manager in larger projects such as mailing lists, email marketing, sale event preparation, product inventory, data entry, and product display.
-Some furniture lifting will be required.
