Disable edge swipe gestures?

Hi, all - 

I'm using Crafty for a tile-dragging game, and on phones and tablets, sometimes dragging a tile near the edge of the screen leads to the browser going back to the previous page. Is there any way to disable this? I've tried a bunch of solutions, including CSS with overscroll-behavior-x and also some JavaScript event interception, but nothing is working.
