On our newest member: Danny

Please allow me to introduce Danny Barnes to the group.

Danny is a extraordinarily talented CS major in his third year at Berea.  He is also a wonderful TA who with an unusually high interest in student-learning.  In fact, we hired Danny as a CS TA because he was already helping other CS students without receiving a paycheck. 

When I hired Danny to work for us this summer, I wasn't quite sure what we might have him work on.  But, Danny is so talented and wonderful, I hired him anyway.  Now the forces of synergy have made it clear that Danny is destined to help set up the new electronics lab and to help with the development of electronics and robotics curriculum.  For this reason, I suggested he join this group--I think it makes much more sense to have him in on the conversations at this point rather than trying to catch up later.

In fact, once you have *that* access, I would suggest that your first
edit be to add yourself to the list on that webpage under "Who are you
people?" -- happy to walk you through that if you want, once you have an
account. (Y'all feel free to disagree with me at any time, though; just
because I make a suggestion doesn't mean it's a good idea, nor that you
need to take it. ;-)

Ok, it's bedtime for me. Paper-writing marathon tomorrow.

Thank you for your welcome and also to Jan for her enthusiastic introduction of me.

I look forward to this summer with much excitement and cannot wait to see the things

I have created an account, user: barnesdannya

I'm going to explore the site further over the course of today and try to

familiarize myself with it. Again, I look forward to working with this group

and I hope for a very exciting summer.
