earth to craft underground........................ i still feel a pulse.

 

ok, so we have to be honest with ourselves here. in line with (what i am coining) "normal craft behavior," we have slipped a bit during these beautiful summer months.  but let's not be too hard on ourselves. we're busy, smart, fun-loving women (and a couple men) who are trying to make the most of life. so, i say, kudos to us for having friends, enjoying our lives and being generally awesome. nice job us. buuuuuuuut, i'm not letting us off the hook that easily either. personally, i'm 26 which means i only have 15 to 55 years to learn how to make attractive clothes and respectable shelter (at the same time=major bonus).

 

now i don't know about you, but i still really want craft underground to continue on, push on through the beach trips and backyard bbqs.  ya'll are too good to let slip away.  so let's get our act together.

I would totally be there.  With my sweet new one skein easy peesy summer project.  But I can't be in two places at once, and city council trumps fun (by virtue of earning me the money to pay for crafting [and my mortgage]).  If it matters to scheduling, I will never ever be able to be there on a second or fourth Tuesday, but if that's what works for everyone else, carry on!

I'm still over in Spain, but I'll be back soon. And I'm really eager to do some crafting as I didn't bring any knitting on this trip, so my fingers are itching for some scratchy wool yarn (strange...but true!). Anyway, hope the playdate is fun and I'm looking forward to the next Craft Underground meeting.
