that's right. i said it.

UPDATE: hope all is well!  from the feedback we've gotten and what we personally experienced, the screen printing workshop on saturday was a raging success, especially seeing as how this was our very first workshop.  stellar job everyone and special thanks to seth whitten for sharing his skills and materials with us!  please reply to this email with any suggestions for improvements.  we want these activities to be easy and enjoyable...and to keep undergrounders participating.

THREE THINGeeS:

1. as for our upcoming Play Date, this Tuesday, April 21st, we were hoping to spend more time actually making screens, since we spent most of the workshop printing with pre-made screens.  celia and i are still working out getting all the materials we'll need--we trust things will work out.  seth and matt have both agreed to come back Tuesday to be of assistance.  we'll be in touch about further details.  remember, play dates are to practice what we learned at workshops... but feel free to work on different projects too!

2. our saturday dates are all scheduled at the same day and time as the Blue Nile's Merkato!  oops.  we certainly want to support the artist and artisan market happening the first saturday of every month and right now our workshop dates all fall on the first Saturday. soooo, what's the feeling?  you think we should switch to the first Tuesday and third Saturday of each month?  any other suggestions?

3. frock swap coming up!  people have already begun to drop off items. i'd be lying if i said i haven't already fished through everything.  (i took nothing though, i swear.)  drop off is all this week!  bring up to 10 special items down to the main entrance of clementine in a bag with your name.  then come back April 25th 1-4pm for the fun part.  tell everyone you know. we know quality is better than quantity, but having a nice selection is even better.

peace,
suz (& celia in spirit)

Fab. idea and I'm so glad you're organizing it in H'burg! (I'm going
to do this with the kids at our church.) Are people bringing kids or
men's items or has it been all chics? I'd love to get my family
involved if there are others to trade with.

to support our friends who are very soon opening a new high-ish end maternity and kids consignment shop downtown (On a Turtle's Back), we are excluding these categories in the swap.
