Who doesn't have a closet full of clothes? Consignor registration closing? Special announcement for all volunteers! Tagging must stop soon! Start spreading the news!
Who doesn't have a closet full of children's clothes or toys?
If you are plagued with an abundance of children's things you need to get rid of, don't forget to register to consign! ALL consignors MUST register online in order to participate in the fall event. This includes RETURNING and NEW consignors. If you have questions about registration or consigning in general, please contact Ke...@cradles2crayons.net.
Consignor registration closing?
Due to spacing issues, we are limited on the number of consignors that we can take. Once we fill up, all consignor registration will be CLOSED!!! If you are interested, we encourage you to please register SOON! Don't wait until the last minute as you might lose out!
SPECIAL announcement for all volunteers!
Due to the large response of people wanting to consign, we are adding volunteer spots. These times will be released Thursday, September 11 at noon. If you are interested in volunteering, we highly recommend you sign-up as close to noon as possible. All volunteer slots filled within 24 hours last time. If you have questions, please feel free to contact All...@cradles2crayons.net.
*** Tagging MUST stop soon! ***
****All tagging must be entered by September 23rd. We must lock the sale to allow time to download and get the program ready for the actual sale. Anything or anyone not entered by September 23rd will not be able to be included in this event. This is much different than the way we have done it in the past. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact All...@cradles2crayons.net.
Start Spreading the News!!
Cradles 2 Crayons is still relatively new and we have limited funds for advertising. We need you to help us spread the word. Tell your friends, coworkers and neighbors. We have tons of flyers, posters and business cards available. Email Cri...@cradles2crayons.net and we will drop some off for you to distribute at work, church, daycare, playgroups etc. The more people you tell the more money you make and the more quality merchandise there will be.
REMEMBER TO VISIT OUR SPONSORS AS THEY MAKE THIS EVENT POSSIBLE!
As always everything is listed on the website (www.cradles2crayons.net) but if you questions, don't hesitate to contact one of our staff who will be more than willing to help! This is going to be one of our biggest events, if not our biggest ever. Be sure you pass the word to all of your friends to come shop! You won't want to miss out on this event!

Here, some of the ways having a second and third child differs from having your first:
Your Clothes
1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.
2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.
3rd baby: Your maternity clothes are your regular clothes.
The Baby's Name
1st baby: You pore over baby-name books and practice pronouncing and writing combinations of all your favorites.
2nd baby: Someone has to name their kid after your great-aunt Mavis, right? It might as well be you.
3rd baby: You open a name book, close your eyes, and see where your finger falls. Bimaldo? Perfect!
Preparing for the Birth
1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.
2nd baby: You don't bother practicing because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.
3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your 8th month.
The Layette
1st baby: You pre-wash your newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.
2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with the darkest stains.
3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?
Worries
1st baby: At the first sign of distress - a whimper, a frown – you pick up the baby.
2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your firstborn.
3rd baby: You teach your 3-year-old how to rewind the mechanical swing.
Activities
1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.
Going Out
1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call home 5 times.
2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a number where you can be reached.
3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.
At Home
1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.
2nd baby: You spend a bit of every day watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking or hitting the baby.
3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.
