Dear Parthu Sir,
Some of my concerns are as follows.
Though in comparison to last year, I have a more definite understanding of what needs to be done this attempt, however, I am lacking in clarity when it comes to a few challenging situations and I am sure you will take sum time out to address them out effectively.
Here are a few.
I am currently, in pursuit of better jobs that will suit my present situation and skills, as I continue to prepare for GATE2014. Infact, I have been successfully interviewed for a job at Amzur Technologies here at Vizag, that has its head office in the US and is aiming to set a new offshore Software Development center at Vizag.
I am being considered for doing multiple roles including the Test Process and writing documents for their newly developed product.
Since GATE 2013 and since the day I started to refocus my mind on GATE 2014 I always believed we are bigger than the Institution and the rest is the inanimate hardware. The same stands for IIT CAMPUS.
It is we the individual spirit that is bigger and that needs to be profound and stronger and you and me deserve to be assertive about the same and that our spirit is bigger than the institution and that getting laurels from the Institution is only a matter of time; if we realize this strength while we are at study working for the exam, applying for the exam, writing the exam, living in the campus after the exam and then faring well to coming into the real world after our tenure at the IIT Campus.
We will do well, worth all this effort and training here at TenPointer.
Now to my real question. At Amzur, they expect me to write documents for the Company at all levels right from marketing collaterals to process documentation.
I want to know, is it something that will help our cause? and how should I try to balance my office and GATE work all in a day's time. What common ground can be isolated between the two?
Another very important thing that I feel, that is critical is that I need to start doing Computer Organization and the next chapters as Discrete Mathematics is taking a lot of time to complete and has not been quick to master and infact even got me discouraged in my trials to learn the same. But let me assure you, I am quite good at learning things, including mathematical and assimilating technical system details, its just that the previous work place was giving me a raw deal for my knowledge and I was not able to at all properly use my time.
Ideally, I wanted to complete Discrete maths and then progress to CO but it has got delayed like anything.
Having been a IISc Scholar, I am sure only u will be able to fathom the right approach to these trying conditions that have been hampering me.
Once again, my question is, How do I abstract the situation w.r.t my job, that has along with it Company Startup activities like setting up the Quality Management System, setting the document repository together with my regular routine of dedicating to GATE Schedule and solving Question papers and other preparation at home dear Partha sir.
Initially, I felt that having a job that is theoretical will definitely make me serious towards concepts and the office environment and my Gate studies will supplement and complement each other but what are the critical dos and don't that I should know before taking up a job in the IT Industry, as this about to happen in the next few days.
I am asking you this question as I feel that this is my only chance of achieving my dream and proving myself in life.
Thanking your sir,
Yours Affectionately,
Anil
