I seem to recall, that when I tried to use the built-in webcam with
YouTube and Facebook a few months ago on Beta, I got prompted with the
Flash security warnings, and it either worked or didn't.

But now on Dev 0.11.257.39, both sites are telling me no camera
detected.

The camera does work when I try to make a GChat video call.

Is this a known issue with the webcam and Flash? Did they just
disable access to it except for GChat?

Thanks!

AND- mind U, I've never used a Web Cam before; but when I took the Profile Picture for my Cr-48 Account after the break down and recover all text is show backwards. Is this usual? It's like I held the poster I used in from of a mirror.

You can get it working again by putting about:plugins in the address
bar.
Then click the link that says details to show more information.
Under Flash there are 2 files - disable the first one. When it's
disabled, your settings will look like this:

Flash (2 files) - Version: 10.2.154
Shockwave Flash 10.2 r154
Name: Shockwave Flash
Description: Shockwave Flash 10.2 r158
Version: 10.2.158.6
Location: /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so
(Disabled) Enable
MIME types:
MIME type Description File extensions
application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash 10.2 r158
.
Name: Shockwave Flash
Version: 10.2 r154
Location: /opt/google/chrome/plugins/libgcflashplayer.so
Disable
MIME types:
MIME type Description File extensions
application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash
.swf
application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player
.spl

After that your cam will work again on those sites. I think the one
you are disabling is the one they call Pepper.
