Is it possible to get static ip address from Bell Fibe Internet?

Hi all,

I am currently using Rogers business cable as they gave me static ip address. But I don't like the Rogers service that much because it's not stable and slow. I switched modem for several times already but I still need to power recycle to get it work again every week.

Looks like Bell fibe Internet is an option for me but the agent told me they normally don't use static ip. Is there any possibility from your experience?

I have been with Rogers Cable for business accounts as well. recently, the network stopped very frequently and i have to power off/on the router almost once a day to reconnect to the internet service.  

 

Bell was my internet provider before I started using Rogers. There seems no static ip and the Bell service is not good as Rogers at all.

Hi John,

I saw lot properties use Bell business ADSL as internet connection for their building automation system, and it's works well 7/24 for years, it also comes with static IP address.
But I'm not sure if ADSL can fit your bandwidth needs.

/32:  $4/mth
/30:  $5/mth
/29:  $10/mth
/28:  $20/mth

我觉得想看电视的话不如买个tv box。两百多刀，什么台都有。
