Subject: CPUT MechT Group 101 Fwd: WIS210S Lecture schedule
Dear Mr Esmail,
Please be informed that you cannot do any catch-up lectures
outside the days that are allocated to your subject because this is going to
have negative impact on the affected students in the other subjects that they will
be having on the days you have scheduled for the catch-up lectures.
Please go through the semester planner more carefully to look out for
the days that have been allocated to your subjects to take care of the public
holidays. Although I had previously given you a copy of the semester
planner but I also attach it to this email.
Best regards

To whom it may concern
We have been approached by student going around finding out when we can have a "catch up" lecture either Tuesday or Wednesday. A lot of students in the class have Mechatronic systems on a Tuesday and Strengths on a Wednesday which we have work to do already.
Mr Esmail has not joined any Google group and we cannot get hold of him. the communication between Mr Esmail and the class is via one student in the class and he has to communicate with us. We wrote a test last week Thursday and we asked if we are going to have a lecture, he said "No he has not prepared a lecture for us" now we do not have class on Thursday due to a public holiday and then the following week we are writing our 30% test.
The problem is that many of us cannot afford to miss the classes on Tuesday or Wednesday for have a lecture for maths for our 30% test besides this problem we finished our test at 10:30am and could have had a lecture after the test instead of organising a lecture on a day that is not scheduled for maths.
