Thank you for your interest in this position.  My name is Lize and I am the Recruitment Consultant responsible for this role. The information that we have available is as follows:

 

ROLE REQUIREMENT

 

·         The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for field working on Power plants, marine and offshore installations coupled with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities

 

FORMAL EDUCATION

 

·         Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics

·         2 years relevant experience in the Automation field, working on Power plants, marine and offshore installations coupled with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities

·         Siemens experience will be advantageous

·         PLC navigation and programming

·         UNIC C1/2/3 will be advantageous

·         WECS will be advantageous

·         Must be a South African Citizen (Non-negotiable)

·         Incumbent will be based in Paarden Eiland in Cape Town

 

REMUNERATION

 

·         Gross Salary: R 28 500 per month

·         Benefits:    Medical Aid = 50% contribution

Provident Fund = 7.5%

13th Cheque

Employee must contribute to monthly Bargaining Council Levies (sick, dispute and admin levy)

·         Full time, permanent position
