Hi,

Can anybody give any suggestion on how to download a website? I'm trying to setup a local server without internet and I want to be available locally.  I want to download http://www.facebuko.com but all I can get is the index.html using "wget"

Thanks.

The box said 'You need Windows Vista or better' .... so I installed Ubuntu.

Download all source files in the web server using FTP.

Hi Fred,

there are two options in wget, recursive and mirror.. both are useful.. but in my experience, it won't download up to 5 deep levels of folders even if you defined the levels. To get you started command should be something like this:

There are also options that it will only download onto your domain, and exclude external links within your site.. which is helpful if you don't want to download the whole internet contents. Anyways, good luck for facebuko.
