FOSS on the GO!

A relative lull after the SFD. Kamusta na ang mga tao? Ano na ang pinagkakaabalahan?
After SFD 2010 (which by the way was the most attended though quite chaotic SFD celebration
in Philippine history), the CPU secretariat is preparing to get its engine started on the FOSS on
the GO campaign.
After the event, there were many requests to have FOSS trainings and seminars in their schools
including PUP Taguig and the Taguig City University, STI and AMA campuses, and TUP Manila
among others. Right now, what we have is a 9am-12nn lecture/seminar in CEU Malolos for
their college fest in December 10. Two topics on FOSS, so maybe tig-1 oras na seminar yun?
Ang idea namin, it can be any FOSS topic tulad nung ginawa ni Sir Chiongbian sa SFD Batangas
natin na FOSS for Health. Basta naka-integrate yung discussion on FOSS in Advancing ICT for
the People sa lecture part nung ating 1 oras. We can have a levelling off re: this discussion here
sa CPU Labs, I will attach the presentation I used sa SFD for your reference na rin.
PUP and TCU have requests, a career talk and a lecture respectively. The details are yet to be
drafted but the TCU aims to hold it on Dec. 2. It would be nice if we can integrate FOSS and ICT
for the People advocacy in the discussions. We're negotiating with PUPT to push the career talk
to sometime early next year para manageable.

di ko lang ma upload sa sourceforge.net pero naka sign up na ako...
kailan ba yung plano mo dun sa mga activities na sinasabi mo? ilan tao
kailangan mo? count me in basta may invitation letter ha.... kahit
weekdays huwag lang weekends... pero kung out of town... okay lang
basta isama mo sa agenda FOSS4HSR...
