On November 11, 2023, at 2 PM, Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, President of Central Philippine University (CPU), convened with members of the Centralians in Mass Media (CMM) at the CPU Alumni Association Building. The meeting, presided over by Rufino ‘Pinoy’ Gonzales, President of CMM, focused on addressing various concerns in anticipation of Dr. Dagohoy’s upcoming Investiture on November 24.

On November 16, 2023, delegates from Central Philippine University, Dr. Anna May Yap-Zerrudo (Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center), Prof. Sharlene G. Gotico (Associate Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center), and Prof. Kay Arden Q. Gallo (Director, Local and International Linkages and Affiliations Center), visited Kun Shan University, Taiwan.

On the occasion of its 30th founding anniversary, Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) in Tainan City, Taiwan organized a forum with the theme, Flip Here and Now: University as a Creation of Quality Public Space on November 14 to 15, 2023. The forum was attended by representatives of CJCU’s partner institutions from different countries around the world.

In 2021, despite the limitations brought about by the pandemic, an academic partnership was forged between Central Philippine University and National Taipei University of Education. The signing of MOU was a significant milestone for both universities for it would provide meaningful academic collaborations that will benefit the important stakeholders of CPU and NTUE.

The art of crafting manuscripts for publication stands as a prerequisite for achieving excellence in the realm of research. The ability to produce impactful outputs in scientific journals is essential for any researcher. Recognizing this, the CPU Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC), in collaboration with the University Research Center (URC), hosted a Seminar Writeshop on Writing Manuscripts for Publication in Scientific Journals on November 14, 2023, at the Henry Luce III Library.
CPU Dining Hall enhances dining experience for the Centralian community

The spacious CPU dining hall accommodates students, parents and guests for meals from 6:30 AM up to 5:00PM.
The Central Philippine University Dining Hall is pleased to announce expanded services, creating an inviting environment for students, faculty, and staff. Commencing at 6:30 AM, breakfast is now available, with meal and snack options served until 5:00 PM. Additionally, an extended service until 7:00 PM has been introduced, thanks to the inclusion of kiosks offering snacks and delightful food choices such as the Coffee Shop, Waffle Time, Alexia Ice Cream, Afford d Tea, Doughy’s, and Monderz Snack Haus.
