CPU achieves enrollment target for Second Semester SY 2023-2024

CPU is grateful to have 15,358 students this 2nd semester, SY 2023-2024.

Central Philippine University (CPU) has successfully surpassed its enrollment target for the Second Semester of the SY 2023-2024, reaching a total of 15,358 enrolled students as of February 15, 2024. This achievement surpasses the enrollment record of the Second Semester of SY 2022-2023, which stood at 15,325.

13 academic programs granted re-accreditation status by ACSCU-ACI

All thirteen academic programs visited by accreditors of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI) last October 2-6, 2023 were granted re-accreditation status valid from December 11, 2023 to December 2028.

Dr. Carmen Pama-Santos and her family have recognized the need for a speech laboratory at the CPU Junior High School and in the University. In support of this, they have generously donated over one million pesos (Php 1M) towards the establishment and upgrade of the speech laboratory, named or known as the Dr. Carmen P. Santos Speech Laboratory.

Through the ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB), the Department of Information and Communications Technology established three (3) regional acceleration projects in Regions 4A, 6, and 10. The Startup-tailored Empowerment and People-focused Upskilling Project (STEP UP), launches in CALABARZON, Western Visayas, and Northern Mindanao. This year, 33 local startups have been chosen to take part in the short-term, extensive, and rapid immersive mentorship program.
