Central Philippine University and Aichi International Education Center forge partnership for internship program

In a historic virtual signing ceremony held on November 22, 2023, Central Philippine University (CPU) and Aichi International Education Center of Japan formalized their commitment to foster international collaboration in the field of education. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) virtual signing took place at the Conference Room of the Rex D. Drilon Hall for CPU, and the representatives of Aichi International Education Center was in Nagoya, Japan.
Antique Centralians will have a caravan in support of President Dagohoy

Antique Centralians are gearing up for a collective show of support for Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy on November 24th, marking the auspicious occasion of his Investiture as the 18th President of Central Philippine University.

PaghimaCAS: A Dean’s Lister Award for First Semester 2022-2023

The Province of Arts and Sciences Student Council 2023 and the Dean’s lister students with the Department Heads, Dean, and Guidance Counselor during the PaghimaCAS Program.

The Province of Arts and Sciences Student Council of Central Philippine University honored its outstanding students in the First Semester of Academic Year 2022-2023 in a special awarding ceremony held on November 21, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Alumni Promenade and Concert Hall. The event, dubbed as PaghimaCAS, was themed “Where Panther Brilliance Meets Recognition.” It aimed to recognize the academic excellence and achievements of the College of Arts and Sciences students who made it to the Dean’s List.

Community Engagement and Service Learning Center (CESLC) Conducts Orientation to Newly Appointed Outreach Coordinators

Ms. Jaren Marr P. Jaco, CESLC Secretary discussed the necessary requirements before and after the extension works to the outreach coordinators.

On November 17, 2023, the Community Engagement and Service-Learning Center conducted an orientation with respective outreach coordinators, highlighting the need to reach out to communities, the outreach processes, and upcoming agendas.

UPDATE: Student Development and Programs

On October 25, the start of the grant distribution of the CHED Tulong Dunong Program under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (CHED TDP-TES) was spearheaded by the SDP and partner teams from the Registrar and Business Office representatives through giving the said grants to the 615 recipients held at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park. The Opening Program started with the prayer led by Pastor Alfred Morales. The outgoing CPU President, Dr. Teodoro Robles gave his welcome and opening remarks. He thanked all the recipients for choosing to study at CPU and mentioned that he and his siblings studied in CPU, too. On October 26, was the last day of the said grant distribution.

Getting ready for Christmas? Here’s a meaningful gift for you or for someone……

My journey began in the Philippines and continued on to the United Kingdom, to Australia and to Germany, before I returned once more to the United Kingdom. I want to share my experiences of living in those four different cultures in three different continents and how they have transformed me – for the better, I hope! I have also been to twenty-three other countries and had a taster of their cultures. The experiences, both bad and good, that I gained from hopping from one culture to another inspired me to write a series of books.
