Hi Everyone,

We’ve got big plans for this quarter. IREC is in 3 months!!

Things that are happening soon.

· Hydrostatic test of new nitrous tank (Pending safety approval).

· Separator test (pending safety approval).

· Long duration test fire (pending new nitrous tank testing).

· Testing out at Far on April 16.

· Fuel grain pouring and other tasks

Current projects

· Flight computer development

o Sensors and data recording

o GPS

o Radio communication

o Ground support for avionics

· Pyrotechnic valve for flight motor

· Payload for rocket

· Parachute design and construction

· Deployment mechanisms

· Separation mechanisms

· Various small tasks on ground support equipment

We’ve got lots of things to do and not a lot of people to do them. If you Interested we are having our first weekday meeting on Wednesday at 6pm in 192-322 to plan out the quarter. Come stop by.

If you can’t make it to Wednesday, stop by the hangar on Saturday at 11 AM and we’ll be jumping in to things.
