Dear students, this is to inform you that result for research papers has been released. This can be obtained from Boards website i.e. http://www.psptb.go.tz/ or at PSPTB office. Following the outcome of this results, there four categories;

1.  Minor corrections - make necessary corrections and submit your paper after being signed     by your supervisor fort for approval  

2.    Minor and Major recast- recast document and submit two copies for recheck also

 you are required to pay tshs. 60,000 and  attend Oral presentation which will be conducted from 1st  to 2nd August 2012,

3. Failed - you are required to repeat the the whole process and re-submit on October 2012

 

Please adhere to the above instructions

Jamani it sounds unfair, we did all the corrections just as our supervisors directed then at the end of the presentation some one tells you the topic is too wide, your findings are not clear. Then what is the role of our supervisors? Why should we be penalized alone? I think something has to be done by the board especially when choosing supervisors. This is completely disappointing.

Kawamala,
you have a point, I was so disappointed by one of the panelist,Mr N,
he totally took me offline by his unprofessional critiques, i think
the board needs to see who they are taking for the supervisory duties
and panelist. How can the same supervisor be the pannelist and reject
what he guided you to do? I was so close to appealing bt thank God I
am cleared,but with this trend the board will soon lose credibility.

Also what is the role of research proposal if the panellist state that the topic is too wide and whenever someone tried to make a reference to the research proposal he insisted that "I don't know about your proposal my concern is research paper", so what is the important of the research proposal by the way?.

is it fair for supervisor to be in the panellist?

When will be the deadline for Major and Minor recast to submit research paper and to pay that amount of 60,000?
