I am wondering has anybody used PFILT3C for 3-component data. I found some public domain data (Soda Lake 3D3C) and tried it, but is has no effect trying all the options. PFILT3D does work however work for single component (NATRC=1).

I used its precursor on the system before CPS but don't believe I ever tested it on 3-C data after Stephen Chiu put it into the system.

I found the paper by Chiu, Whitmore and Gurch from the 2007 CSEG Convention that is obviously about the algorithm. There must have been a working prototype at some stage to generate the pretty pictures in the paper. So a challenge now to figure out what is wrong.
