Caldwell E-Max® Pro BT Earmuffs with rechargeable lithium battery packs
Hazard:
The soldering within the lithium-battery pack housing can allow the wiring to detach and cause the unit to overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.
Remedy:
Replace
Consumers should immediately remove the recalled lithium-battery pack from the earmuffs and contact American Outdoor Brands for disposal instructions in accordance with local laws and to receive free replacement alkaline batteries; including shipping.

Description:
This recall involves the Caldwell® rechargeable lithium-battery pack (SKU No. 1108859) that was included with black E-Max® Pro BT Earmuffs (SKU No. 1099596), which provide hearing protection while shooting firearms. The rechargeable lithium-battery pack is housed in one of the earmuffs. The battery pack is 3.7 V and has a gray exterior. It measures 1.25 inches x 1.5 inches. The name Caldwell is on the exterior of the battery pack. The earmuffs also can operate with three AAA alkaline batteries.

Midway USA, Bass Pro Shops and Davidsons stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from April 2021 through May 2021 for about $100 for the earmuffs.

2. Harbor Freight Tools Recalls One Stop Gardens 15,000 and 30,000 BTU Tank Top Propane Heaters Due to Burn Hazard:

One Stop Gardens 15,000 and 30,000 BTU Tank Top Propane Heaters
Hazard:
In windy weather, the flame can be directed to the rear of the unit, which can melt the “tip switch” safety shut off feature at the rear of the heater. This poses a risk that the heater will not turn off if it tips over and poses a burn hazard to consumers.
Remedy:
Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tank top propane heaters and return them to their local Harbor Freight Tools store for a full refund of the purchase price, plus applicable tax, in the form of a Harbor Freight Tools gift card. Harbor Freight Tools is contacting all known purchasers directly.

This recall involves the One Stop Gardens 15,000 BTU Tank Top Propane Heater (Item #63073) and the One Stop Gardens 30,000 BTU Tank Top Propane Heater (Item #63072). The heaters are designed to mount on top of a standard 20 lb. propane tank, and have an “easy start” with variable heat control valve, high efficiency heat reflector, and safety shutoff.

Incidents/Injuries:
The firm has received reports of nine incidents of flame redirection to the rear of the heater and/or the tip switch safety feature melting. Three of these incidents resulted in minor burn injuries when the consumers attempted to turn off the unit.

This recall involves portable rechargeable handheld fans sold in blue, pink and purple colors. The fans have a one touch button with three speeds and weigh about 8.8 oz. The item number 9050103 can be found on the product box and on a sticker on the backside of the fan itself.
Incidents/Injuries:
Rite Aid has received two consumer reports of the rechargeable handheld fans overheating and emitting smoke. No injuries have been reported.
Sold At:
Rite Aid stores nationwide from April 2021 through June 2021 for about $10.
