HSN Recalls 5.4 Million Handheld Clothing Steamers Due to Serious Burn Hazard
Recall Summary
Name of Product: Joy/JM-branded My Little Steamer® and My Little Steamer® Go Mini
Hazard: The recalled clothing steamers can expel, spray, or leak hot water during use, posing a serious burn hazard to consumers.
Remedy: Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled clothing steamers and contact HSN for information about how to receive a full refund for units purchased from January 2018 to December 2020, a partial refund for units purchased from January 2015 to December 2017, or a voucher for units purchased before January 2015.

Units: About 5.4 million (In addition, 14,300 were distributed in Canada)
Description: This recall involves Joy/JM-branded My Little Steamer and My Little Steamer Go Mini handheld clothing steamers. The steamers are handheld electrical appliances (120V, 60Hz, 900w), which use hot steam, emitted from a nozzle head to remove wrinkles from garments and other fabrics. The steamers were sold in two sizes: the standard (or deluxe) full-size My Little Steamer or the compact-size My Little Steamer Go Mini. The steamers were sold individually or in combination sets in a variety of colors, including black, white, red, purple, and teal. Recalled models have either a flat or triangular steamer head, and the name of the product is printed on the side of the unit.
Incidents/Injuries: HSN has received 227 reports of hot water spraying or leaking from the steamers, including 106 reports of burn injuries. These reports include eight reports of second- degree burns and six reports of third-degree burns.
Sold At: Online at HSN.com and on the HSN television network. They were also sold in-stores nationwide, or online at various retailers, including Amazon, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, and Lowes from January 2002 through December 2020 for between $10 and $30 individually and between $20 and $50 in combination sets.

Ergobaby Recalls METROUS Strollers Due to Choking Hazard
Recall Summary
Name of Product: METROUS1, METROUS2 and METROUS4 Compact City Strollers
Hazard: The button on some buckles that release the harness can break and detach when pressed by the user while the child is in the stroller, making it difficult to release, and posing a choking hazard to young children.
Remedy: Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Ergobaby for instructions and a full free replacement restraint harness with buckle.

Description: This recall involves the Ergobaby METROUS1, METROUS2, or METROUS4 Compact City Strollers. The strollers come with a harness that has a black release button in the middle of the buckle. The model name is located on the inside of the frame, above the right-side rear wheel. The strollers have a black, gray, or teal blue canopy and Ergo Baby printed on the front bottom of the stroller.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 15 consumer reports of the button on the buckle that releases the harness breaking and detaching when pressed by the user, making it difficult to release the buckle. No injuries have been reported.
Sold At: Online at ErgoBaby.com, AlbeeBaby.com and Amazon.com from July 2018 through September 2019 for about $300.

JCPenney Recalls Girls Puffer Jackets Due to Entanglement Hazard
Recall Summary
Name of Product: Arizona Jean Co. “Lilac Smoke” Girls Midweight Puffer Jackets
Hazard: The puffer jackets have a drawstring located inside the lining of the bottom area of the garment. The drawstring can become entangled or caught on playground slides, handrails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing an entanglement hazard to children.
Remedy: Repair, Refund
Consumers should immediately take the recalled jacket away from children, cut and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard, or contact JCPenney for instructions on how to return the jacket and obtain a full refund of the original purchase price, shipping included.

Hazard: The shower stools can become unstable or slippery while in use, causing the stools to tip over, posing a fall hazard.

Description: This recall involves Target’s Room Essentials Shower Stools. The white shower stools measure 18 inches tall and have a three-legged aluminum frame and a plastic curved seat. The Room Essentials logo and item number 064-20-1091 are printed on the front of the product’s hangtag.
Incidents/Injuries: Target has received 12 reports of consumers falling off the recalled shower stools, including four reports of bruises, bumps and scratches, and one report of an arm sprain.
Sold Exclusively At: Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from March 2019 through September 2020 for about $35.

Trek Recalls Bontrager Satellite City Bicycle Pedals Due to Fall and Injury Hazards
Recall Summary
Name of Product: Bontrager Satellite City Bicycle Pedals
Hazard: If the recalled pedals are incorrectly installed by the retailer during assembly, they can fall off the crank arm of the bicycle, posing fall and injury hazards to the rider.
Remedy: Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles equipped with the recalled pedals and contact their local authorized Trek retailer for instructions on receiving free installation of replacement pedals.

Recall Details
Units: About 316,500 (In addition, about 28,650 in Canada)
Description: This recall involves Bontrager Satellite City Pedals, which were installed as original equipment on Trek “Allant+,” “Dual Sport+,” “FX 2,” “FX 3,” “Verve 2,” “Verve 3,” and “Verve+” model bicycles. “ZTR02” is stamped on the bicycle’s pedal and on the pedals that were sold separately as a replacement part. The pedals have orange reflectors on the outside edges.
Incidents/Injuries: Trek has received 132 reports of the recalled pedals loosening, locking up or falling off, including seven reports of riders falling and experiencing injuries, including scrapes, bruises and road rash.
Sold At: Trek Bicycle stores and other bicycle stores nationwide, and online at trekbikes.com from January 2018 through April 2021 for between $600 and $6,000. The pedals were also sold separately for about $30.
