We ask that potential clients present 30 mins prior to this time to complete paperwork. As a community behavioral health provider we ask you bring photo ID, insurance cards, proof of residency (i.e. utility bill), income verifications for all in household (as applicable). If you are unable to complete this prior to your visit, we will assist in completing it with you at the time of your visit.

Recovery Services understands that questions may arise while you are navigating through the paperwork. If at any time, you have a question or do not understand a document, please contact our office at 419-782-9920 and speak with any support staff member.

The Public Health Recovery Outreach Team works closely with area courts and hospitals to provide support and linkage to care for persons struggling with substance use. In 2024, Outreach began working with local law enforcement on a pre-arrest deflection initiative, to lessen incarcerations and engagement with the criminal justice system, and to deflect persons with low level offenses and substance use disorder into direct treatment linkage. This team is made up of three (3) Mental Health/Substance Use Therapists and eight (8) Certified Peer Recovery Supporters to be able to provide not only peer support but also clinical services to our community and the persons we work with daily.

Peer-based services offer non-clinical drug-free environments for recreation, skill-building, and recovery supports in the form of emotional, informational, instrumental (concrete) support and positive affiliation.

Many OASAS providers offer expanded services that build on traditional prevention, treatment, and recovery programs. Locally-based services address the needs of specific counties and regions and offer additional support to individuals, families, and communities, affected by addiction.

We would like to welcome you to our treatment program. We know that you may be anxious about the circumstances that brought you here. But we hope that you will be able to relax and remember that just as others before you, you have begun your journey of recovery from the disease of chemical dependency and addiction. Perhaps it will help you to know that every participant here has a chemical dependency problem.

We hope that you will come to realize that chemical dependency and addiction can affect every segment of your life and of society. It is no disgrace to be an alcoholic or addict. The only disgrace is not doing something about it.

The disease is confronted and each person is provided with opportunities to challenge self-destructive concepts, experience personal growth and responsibility, increased self-esteem, increased social performance and develop a recovery-based lifestyle.

Three phases of the program provide goals and objectives, where growth can be observed and measured. The demonstration of personal growth encourages the participant toward completion. Completion will depend on the motivation and diligence of the individual, but is designed to occur within 90 days.
