CPSA BBQ Social

Hello CPSA Members!

This e-mail is regarding a social that CPSA is hosting this upcoming
Sunday, February, 12, 2012. The social is going to be a BBQ at our
Community Service Director's (Stew Fielding) place in Pomona.You don't
have to bring anything with you but yourself. Food will be provided
(obviously).

This would be a great opportunity for those who are interested in
running for a position for CPSA to mingle with our current E-board and
Directors. But it is also a great opportunity to just get to know what
CPSA is. We want our members to know that we are not to be viewed as
"just the people up front" during our meetings. We want our members to
know that we are just like you, we started off as a member and got to
know one another by getting involved.

We received an impressive amount of participation and involvement
during last week's separate meeting from BAY, and CPSA wants to
continue to build a stronger relationship with our members. The amount
of people who show up for this BBQ will also allow our E-board to
estimate how many members would be coming out to future social
activities such as the hiking social I mentioned last week.

We have kept in mind that the social does land on a Sunday so we are
having it in the afternoon at 2:00pm.
