Dear all
ICLEI is pleased to announce the launch of three unique websites to
help support public authorities in implementing sustainable
procurement:
- The Sustainable Procurement Resource Centre;
- the Procurement Forum;
- and the relaunch of the Procura+ Sustainable Procurement Campaign
website.
Sustainable Procurement Resource Centre
This is a one-stop access point for procurers, policy makers,
researchers and other stakeholders. It contains key knowledge on how
to effectively undertake sustainable procurement, saving public
authorities money and driving the market towards environmentally and
socially responsible solutions.
The site has the latest news and events on sustainable procurement.
Take advantage of networking opportunities, discover ongoing
initiatives that you can participate in and tap into an extensive
searchable database. Examples of what you will find include:
procurement criteria, policies and strategies, Tools and guidance,
good practice cases, studies and reports. Available at:
www.sustainable-procurement.org
The Procurement Forum
Organisations are invited to delve deeper into specific aspects of
sustainable procurement in the Procurement Forum, a tailor-made online
network for procurement professionals. In this social space, the
opportunity to exchange and collaborate in focused groups is provided.
Available at: www.procurement-forum.eu.
New Procura+ Website
The relaunched Procura+ Campaign website is for public authorities
that wish to take a lead in advancing sustainable procurement. There
are 30 member cities, regions and organisations that are among the
most active in Europe in the field. Available at: www.procuraplus.org.
As they are new websites, I would be happy to hear your comments and
suggestions. Please let me know if you feel there is something missing
or unclear, or if you would like to add a resource or link to the
resource centre. Please also consider including a link to the websites
on your own website.
Kind regards
